We Can Help Today!

Express Clydebank glazing experts offer a variety of safety glass services including toughened glass installations and replacements. Toughened glass will usually shatter into small fragments instead of sharp shards when broken, making it less likely to cause severe injury and deep lacerations. This is particularly useful for certain frames such as cat flaps, glass doors and tables.

Our Clydebank toughened glass normally takes three to five working days to order in for both single and double-glazed options. This glass is recommended for Clydebank residential customers, as the glass shatters into relatively harmless fragments upon impact, as opposed to the larger, more dangerous shards caused by breakage of normal glass. However, due to the security risk of having a large hole when the glass has been shattered, we do not recommend this for our Clydebank commercial customers, whom we offer laminate glass to instead.

Clydebank Glazing Testimonials

Customer Name: Julian Jenkins.
I recently had work carried out by your group. I am writing to inform you of my satisfaction on the standard of the work and the approach of the engineers.
My wife and I were impressed by the engineers manner; we found them to be courteous and helpful. They contacted us over the phone on two occasions to arrange a time for them to call and on both occasions were true to their word and punctual.
I honestly believe them to be a credit to your company and even though I acknowledged their workmanship at the time, I would appreciate it, if you would let them know of my satisfaction of their part in the task carried out.
Thank you for a job well done!

Example Of Our Glass Services

Double Glazed Units
In the trade we say a double glazed sealed unit has broken down. This means that the perimeter edge seal has lost its integrity and that it is letting in moisture somewhere. The moisture is hard to spot at first, sometimes becoming only visible as the sun or another heat source draws the moisture up by evaporation.

Typically the moisture will be drawn in as the atmospheric pressure changes and it will build up, eventually condensing into water inside the sealed unit. This can sometimes look like a fish tank with several inches of water that cannot escape. Whether the seal has failed or the glass is broken, we will replace and re-seal all types of Double Glazed Units.
